How can I get tree sap off my car window?
I regularly park my car on the street beneath an evergreen tree—I live in Washington State, so they're hard to avoid. Unfortunately, yesterday morning, I found tree sap on my window. Is there any way I can easily remove it?

“Sounds like a sticky situation—but one with an easy solution! Here’s how you remove tree sap from your car window:
- Start by spraying a glass cleaner like Windex on the affected area.
- Put some rubbing alcohol on a rag and rub it into the sap.
- Repeat the last step as necessary until the sap is gone.
In most cases, sap won’t cause damage to your window, but if it gets on the
paint job
, it could be troublesome. Consider parking your car away from this tree if possible so you don’t have to file a claim on your comprehensive coverage
