How do I open my Tesla glove box?
I just got a brand new Tesla, and I’m so excited! However, I’m confused about one thing—I’ve been looking at my glove box, and there doesn’t seem to be a handle. How does this work? How can I open my Tesla’s glove box?

—that’s an incredible ride! The glove box can be a bit of a puzzle, but it’ll become second nature once you know how it works.To open a Tesla glove box:
- Go to Controls. This should be located in the bottom corner of your touchscreen.
- Select Glove Box. The glove box will then pop open, and the light will turn on.
And with that, you’re all set!
To close the glove box, simply push it back until it clicks into place. If you plan on storing valuables in there, you can also set a glove box PIN (also via Controls) to ensure that you keep any important items or information as safe as possible.
