Remove the broken door handle by gently twisting and pulling it out of its housing.
Purchase a matching door handle online through a Toyota parts dealer.
Locate the circular rubber seal on the inside of the door jamb and remove it.
Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw inside the seal.
Pull off the handle’s outer casing.
Inside the left side of the handle’s housing, you will see a black lever that the handle connects to. Use a string to hook onto the lever.
Insert the new handle by securing the right side in place then pulling back on the string connected to the lever while fitting the left side into place.
Pull the string out and test the handle.
Tighten the screw and replace the black seal.
