Volvo does not make a diesel SUV…anymore. Due to the brand’s focus on more sustainable production, Volvo announced in 2020 that it would stop producing all diesel-powered vehicles. The last diesel-powered Volvo SUV was the 2020 XC90.
Though the Swedish automaker currently offers a wide variety of hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and electric vehicles, Volvo hopes to have an electric-only fleet by 2030.
