For whatever reason, Tesla has taken a strong stance against Heads Up Display(HUD) in its vehicles, despite the technology’s reputation for safety. HUD is a display of information that’s projected just below the driver’s line of sight on the windshield.
The type of information projected varies depending on the manufacturer, but it could include the speed you’re traveling, navigation information, and your car’s mechanical status. This technology was initially used by pilots to help them fly safer. Today, it similarly allows drivers to stay informed while keeping their eyes on the road.
