The easiest way to add Bluetooth to a car’s radio is with a Bluetooth receiver. You can stream music to a Bluetooth receiver from your phone. The receiver is then plugged into the 3.5mm input jack (auxiliary in), which is usually near the center controls or in the center console.
If your car or radio doesn’t have an auxiliary input, the best thing to do is get an FM transmitter. Instead of sending the sound through an auxiliary cable, it sends it over an FM radio frequency. If you don’t mind not being able to stream music through your car’s stereo, you can choose a dedicated Bluetooth speakerphone instead.
