I want to hop on the green energy train by buying an EV. The Chevy Bolt fits the mold, but I’m not sure if it has the high-tech safety features that I want. Can I get a Chevy Bolt with adaptive cruise control?
Reviewed by Shannon Martin, Licensed Insurance Agent.
The short answer is maybe. It all depends on what model year you want to buy. If you buy a 2022 Chevy Bolt, adaptive cruise control comes standard.
The 2021 Bolt offers adaptive cruise control as an optional feature, but any model made before then will not have adaptive cruise control, offering basic cruise control instead.
With this feature, as well as a great standard safety package, the Chevy Bolt earns a perfect five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration—a testament to its safety excellence.
