Does the 2022 Ford Maverick have cruise control?
I’m thinking of buying a new pickup this year, and I like the look and price of the Ford Maverick. Does the 2022 Ford Maverick have cruise control?

Some 2022 Ford Maverick models come with cruise control, but the base level Maverick XL does not. In fact, Ford will not even install an optional cruise control system on the Maverick XL for you, and there’s no available package that includes cruise control for that trim.
If you want a Ford Maverick with cruise control, you’ll have to either buy a higher trim or get an aftermarket cruise control system installed on the base trim.
If you’re not interested in an aftermarket system, then here are your options to get a Ford Maverick with cruise control:
- Purchase the higher-priced Maverick XLT or Lariat, which have included cruise control
- Purchase the Lariat along with the Lariat Luxury Package, which includes adaptive cruise control
The Maverick XLT has an available XLT Luxury Package, but it doesn’t come with adaptive cruise control.
