Does the 2016 Kia Forte have cruise control?
My son plans to buy a used 2016 Kia Forte from our next-door neighbor, so I’ve been researching the model a little. He drives a lot on the highway so I want him to be able to use cruise control, but can’t find the 2016 Forte specifications. Did the 2016 Kia Forte have cruise control?

Some 2016 Kia Fortes have cruise control—but some don’t.
The 2016 Kia Forte came standard with cruise control on the EX trim but not on the LX trim. However, it was an option for the LX model, so if the original owner sprung for the extra cost, the car might have cruise control even if it is an LX.
There are a few more big differences to note between the EX and LX. Here are some things that the LX offered standard that were not available or only available as options on the EX:
- Auto on/off headlights
- Front fog lights
- Power-folding outside mirrors
- Rear-camera display
