. You can also use the Bluetooth connection to make hands-free calls from your car, send voice-dictated text messages, and integrate applications like Google Maps. But let’s start with the basics. First, you’ll need to connect your phone to your Cruze with these steps:
- With the car parked, tap the phone icon on your Cruze’s touchscreen.
- Then, tap on “Add phone,” “Pair device,” or “Connect phone.” You might also see just a simple “+” symbol. If so, tap it.
- Open the Bluetooth options on your phone, and select your vehicle from the list of options to pair with.
- You should see a code displayed on your phone along with a matching code on your car’s touchscreen. If both codes match, accept the pairing on your phone.
Now you’re connected to your car via Bluetooth! You should be able to play music from your phone to your car’s sound system now.
