Does stunt driving give you a criminal record?
I think stunt driving is so cool. I have a friend who does it sometimes, and it makes me want to do it, too. But I don’t want to get a criminal record just for having fun. Is stunt driving a criminal offense?

While stunt driving won’t go on your criminal record, it’s still illegal. In fact, being charged with stunt driving can result in serious consequences, including jail time.
If you’re caught stunt driving, you could be hit with one or more of the following:
- License suspension for up to 30 days, effective immediately, or one to three years if you’re convicted.
- Six demerit points.
- Fines from $2,000 to $10,000.
- Jail time of up to 6 months.
- *Vehicle impoundment for up to 14 days.
