Does Dodge’s warranty cover the price of a rental car?
I’m having some mechanical issues with my Dodge Challenger that are covered under warranty. The dealership said it could take a few days to repair, though. Will the warranty cover the cost of a rental car for those few days, too?

I’m so sorry to hear that you’re having car troubles, but glad to hear that the issue will be covered under your Dodge warranty! Rental car services are covered under Dodge’s optional Lifetime Warranty—but not under the Basic Limited Warranty.
Every new Dodge comes with a Basic Limited Warranty that provides three years or 36,000 miles of protection. This is a bumper-to-bumper warranty, which includes everything from the electrical system to the chassis.You’ll even benefit from towing service (to the nearest certified dealership)—but you’ll have to pay for a rental car out of pocket (or rely on your car insurance coverage).
The optional Dodge Lifetime Warranty, on the other hand, provides additional coverage that extends past the expiration date of your old plan. If you’ve purchased this warranty, 5,000 components of your vehicle are covered for the entire duration of your ownership. Roadside assistance, towing, and rental car services are added perks.
