How do I open a Honda CR-V trunk?
My family and I are on vacation this week, and our rental vehicle is a Honda CR-V EX, which I like a lot! I’ve figured out how most of the features work, but the trunk has given me some issues. How can I open the trunk on a CR-V?

- Pressing the trunk release button on the key fob.
- Pressing the trunk release button typically located to the lower left of the steering wheel.
- Using the outer handle located on the trunk.
- Using the release button or lever in the rear cargo area.
- Making a forward and back kicking motion under the center of the rear bumper.
Keep in mind that features vary depending on the year and trim level of your vehicle, so it’s possible your CR-V cannot be opened using some of the above methods.
