Does Chevy have 100,000-mile warranty coverage?

I’m shopping around for a new car, and I’d prefer to buy an American-made vehicle. However, I want to make sure that a company like Chevy has a decent warranty. Does Chevy currently offer a 100,000-mile warranty?

Chevy offers a 100,000-mile warranty, but it only applies to heavy-duty trucks equipped with the 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel engine. The specific warranty for trucks equipped with this engine protects against manufacturer defects for 5 years or 100,000 miles—whichever comes first.
If you’re looking for a different vehicle, Chevy still has a comparable warranty to the rest of the American automotive market. Every new Chevy gets a 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty coupled with a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty. This covers you against manufacturer defects, but not against normal wear and tear or general maintenance.
