Does Amica offer home insurance in Florida?
I’m relocating from Pennsylvania to Florida, where I inherited a family house. I have my car insurance with Amica, but I thought I heard they don’t have homeowners insurance there. Does Amica now offer home insurance in Florida?

Florida is a wonderful place to live, but keep in mind that the Sunshine State is not always sunny. The average elevation across the state is only 6 feet above sea level, and you’ll want to consider taking out flood insurance in addition to your standard homeowners policy with Amica.
Why would you need an additional policy? Well, standard homeowners insurance does not cover
external flooding
and storm surge damage. As you know, Florida is also subject to hurricanes. Wind damage to your property from
hurricanes
