Does Alfa offer gap insurance?
I recently purchased a brand new car for my daughter’s birthday, but I’m worried about the financial loss I may face if her car is totaled or stolen. I’ve heard that gap insurance can help. Do you know if Alfa has gap insurance?

Alfa does not offer gap insurance. If you’re an Alfa customer but you’d like this type of coverage, you’ll have to consider switching to a different insurance provider that does offer this type of insurance, or purchasing standalone gap insurance from your dealership or a third party lender.
Gap insurance
is a great way to mitigate financial losses in a serious collision or theft, especially if your car is brand new. Gap insurance covers the difference between the amount you owe to your lender and the actual cash value of your car in these events, protecting you from your car’s depreciated value after it left the dealership. Purchasing standalone gap insurance can be pretty pricey at a whopping $400 to $700. Comparatively, you’ll only pay about $20 to $40 more to add this type of coverage to an existing insurance policy.
