Does a tesla have brake fluid?
I just bought a Telsa and someone told me that they don’t have brake fluid. Is that true or just a rumor?

Great question–thanks for asking! There has been some confusion surrounding this issue. To be clear, yes–Teslas do have brake fluid.
Most Teslas use DOT 3 Brake Fluid. The confusion probably arises from the fact that Teslas generally don’t require as frequent fluid maintenance. In fact, Tesla has told customers that they do not need to perform regular annual brake fluid checks. Instead, the fluid only has to be checked as needed if there is an issue.
