Does a remote starter void a Kia warranty?

I bought a base model Kia Soul because I wanted to save money—but now I regret buying a car without a remote start. I’m planning on getting an aftermarket remote starter installed but I’m not sure what that will do to my warranty.

The only way that installing a remote starter could impact your
Kia
warranty is if your car was damaged in the process of installing it. If you use a reputable mechanic to install your aftermarket remote start, both your 5-year/60,000-mile factory warranty and your 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty should remain intact.
Good warranty coverage is essential if your car is ever damaged as the result of a factory defect. But if you want help paying for car repairs after an accident, you need great
car insurance
instead.
