Does a muffler delete void the warranty on a Hyundai?

I have a 2021 Veloster that I want to sound more aggressive, so I’ve been considering getting a muffler delete. Will it void the Hyundai warranty, or will I still have my remaining coverage?

No—a muffler delete will not void your Hyundai warranty due to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (MMWA), which was passed by Congress in 1975 and prevents manufacturers from using disclaimers on warranties unfairly or misleadingly. A manufacturer can only deny warranty coverage if they can demonstrate that a non-original equipment part or related service (i.e., a muffler delete) caused a defect to the original product.
However, be mindful that if your vehicle is leased, you will have to return it in its original condition, minus any wear—that means all original parts must be intact.
Having warranty coverage on your Veloster will protect you financially from issues with parts, but you’ll also need a solid
