Does a Jeep warranty transfer to a second owner?
If I buy a newer Jeep from someone, will I get to keep the factory warranty as the second owner? I’m not sure how warranties work when you sell the car.

In most cases, yes! The standard Jeep manufacturer warranty is transferable to a second owner. However, if the first owner purchased an extended warranty, that extra coverage typically won’t transfer.
If it’s been more than three years since the original owner purchased the Jeep, the standard warranty will already have expired. If it’s been more than five years, the powertrain warranty will have expired as well. To discuss your options in cases like these, you’ll need to talk to a Jeep dealer.
