Does a Ford warranty cover loaner cars?

I have to get some warranty work done on my car. Ford already confirmed that they’ll do the work, but I forgot to ask about a loaner car. I still need transportation when my car is in the shop, and I don’t want to pay for it. Will Ford give me a loaner car if I’m under warranty?

Unfortunately, the Ford warranty does not cover loaner cars or rental cars. Moreover, Ford dealerships will typically not offer a loaner car in most cases, although some offer this as a courtesy service.
That said, a Ford warranty or extended warranty offers rental car reimbursement for vehicles that remain in the shop overnight. This coverage is capped at $35 a day for a maximum of 10 days.
In the future, you may want to spring for
rental reimbursement coverage
on your car insurance policy. This add-on coverage provides reimbursement if you need to rent a car while your vehicle is being fixed. So if you want to compare quotes for this coverage or just lower your
