Do homeowners insurance companies inspect homes?

My state recently passed a texting while driving law, and I have a rather bad habit of doing just that. I’m worried that if I’m caught, I’m going to see a huge increase in my car insurance rates—but only if it’s a moving violation, right? Is texting and driving considered a moving violation?

I’m in the market for a new luxury SUV, and I want to buy an American brand. I like my friend’s Lincoln MKX, but I want to make sure that it’s made in the U.S. Where does Lincoln make the MKX?
