Great question! Fully electric cars do not have a gas tank.
Traditionally fueled vehicles have an internal combustion engine. It depends on the heat and combustion of fuels in order to run. Therefore, it needs to have a gas tank to store gasoline to create and maintain that process.
, or EVs, use an electric motor instead of internal combustion energy. EVs depend on a lithium-ion battery pack to give the car power. This large battery pack requires electricity instead of fuel. So in order to refill the battery, you’ll need access to a wall outlet or charging station.
Because EVs are powered by electricity from a battery, it doesn’t require a gas tank. Soa gas tank would be pointless. This is an excellent step toward a cleaner environment and preserving our planet’s natural resources.
