Do curfew laws apply when driving?
I just got my driver’s license, and I was told that young drivers in my state have a curfew requirement. I usually finish working pretty late—sometimes later than the curfew time/ Will I get in any trouble for driving past curfew?

Every state has its laws and policies regarding curfew for young drivers. In New York state, for example, for drivers ages 16-17, you may drive to school or work after hours, but must have valid documentation or a parent or guardian must be present.
Keep in mind curfew does not apply to drivers who are 18 and up. The justification behind curfew laws is to protect young drivers from any crime and provide social order. If you’re unsure about your state’s curfew laws, it’s best to look them up or ask local law enforcement to ensure that you’re not breaking any rules.
