Do all cars have to be electric by 2025?
With all the news about going electric these days, I’ve heard owning an electric car will be a must. Does everyone’s car have to be electric by 2025?

The short answer is no. It will not be a requirement to have an electric car by 2025.
Although many countries and automakers have made the declaration at the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference that they will set a goal to be fully electric by 2040, the United States has not joined this declaration.
A handful of states, including California,
New York
and Washington, have joined, but the country has no concrete goal for going fully electric.Right now,
Norway is the only country
on track to achieve the goal of 100% electric cars by 2025, and may achieve it even sooner.Whether you make the switch to an electric car or not, it’s unlikely to become mandatory in the near future. Experts believe we are still a ways off from a fully electric vehicle world.
