Can you use a backup camera on a driving test?

Will I be allowed to use my backup camera while I’m parallel parking during my driving test? I’m worried that I won’t be able to park correctly without it, so I’m a little nervous.

Try not to be nervous about your first driving test! That said, you should know that most examiners will not allow you to use a backup camera to
parallel park
or do anything else during your driving test.
However, you’ll still have your mirrors there to help you, and you’ll be able to look over your shoulder when reversing. Before your test, practice parallel parking without looking at the camera until you get a better feel for the motion. That way, you can move confidently when taking your driving test.
Learning to parallel park is hard, but finding the best rates on car insurance can be even harder. That’s why the
Jerry
app makes it quick and easy to find the best rates available on the coverage you need, with no long forms or phone calls needed. Just download the app to get started.
