Can you take a road test at a driving school?

My high school doesn’t offer driver’s ed, so I’ve been taking classes and lessons with a private company. I’ve built a relationship with my instructors, and I’d feel more comfortable taking the road test with them. Will the state let me take a road test at a driving school?

It’s always great when
young drivers
hit it off with their driving instructors. You will need to check with your state DMV or equivalent agency to see if you can take a road test at your driving school.
Depending on your state laws, this may be allowed as long as the driving school is accredited by the state.
No matter where you take your road test, you’re going to do just fine, but you still need insurance to legally drive. To comparison shop for the best rates, check out
