How do you perform an Audi infotainment system update?
This is so annoying! I don't understand how I'm supposed to update the infotainment system in my Audi. Can someone tell me what I'm supposed to be doing?

First, you should know that you’re only going to be able to update the maps and navigation system in your Audi. To update the MMI software, you’ll have to take it to an official Audi dealer and have them do it for you.
To update the navigation maps, here’s what you should do:
Download the update package onto an SD card from My.Audi.com.
Get into your Audi, but do not start it or do not touch the brake pedal, and make sure the door is closed. Then, insert the SD card into the built-in port.
On the touchscreen display, select the “Start” option.
The download should begin after that.
