Can you mix windshield washer fluid?
I know it’s not good to mix coolant, but I’m unclear whether this also applies to wiper fluid. Can you mix windshield washer fluid?

Great question! Yes, you can safely mix windshield washer fluid.
There are no seriously harmful or reactive chemicals in windshield washer fluid. This means that you can mix different types of washer fluid without any dangerous consequences.
If you use a specialty washer fluid like Rain-X, you may notice reduced performance if you top off the reservoir with an off-brand fluid. However, that’s the worst that could happen.
