I have a vintage Porsche 944 that I really love. I’ve kept it in great condition, and I’ve been thinking about adding a turbo kit to give it some extra pep. Is it possible to install a turbo kit on a Porsche 944?

Yes – technically, it is possible to install a Porsche 944 turbo kit. However, there are a few things you may want to consider before you add the turbo kit.
- Installing a turbo kit isn’t a plug-and-go process – it requires significant changes to multiple parts of your vehicle. If your vintage car is in mint (or nearly mint) condition, you’ll want to decide if you’re comfortable having a bunch of parts swapped out and altered
- Installing a turbo kit comes with a high cost, especially considering how many parts must be replaced. Not only are parts expensive, but the amount of labor you’ll have to pay for is also significant.
