Can you flat tow a Lincoln Corsair?

A friend of mine just bought my Lincoln Corsair, but between work and family, he can’t come to get it. I thought I’d just tow it to him about 300 miles away by using my truck. Is it possible to flat tow a Lincoln Corsair?

No—you cannot flat tow a Lincoln Corsair under any circumstances, regardless of the model year, trim, or drivetrain. Flat towing the Corsair can cause catastrophic damage to the transmission and the drivetrain. To make matters worse, it will also void the warranty and your insurance claim is likely to be denied because you improperly towed the vehicle.
However, you can still tow the Lincoln Corsair as long as you have four wheels off the ground by using a flatbed trailer.
