There’s quite a debate online on whether you can flat tow a 2022 CRV. While many websites proclaim that you can flat tow the CRV, the owner’s manual says otherwise. According to page 466 of the owner’s manual, the 2022 Honda CRV should never be flat towed, as it would cause significant damage to the transmission.
Therefore, the only way to tow a 2022 CRV is by using a flatbed trailer. Flatbed trailers cost between $1,000 and $3,000, but you can often get a better deal on a used one.
