Can you flat tow a 2017 Jeep Compass?
I’m going on a cross-country trip in my RV, but I don’t want to drive it once I find a camping ground. Instead, I want to bring my 2017 Jeep Compass along for the trip. Is it possible to flat tow a 2017 Compass?

You can flat tow a 2017 Jeep Compass, but only if it comes equipped with a manual transmission. Just make sure that the transmission is in neutral and the key is in the ACC position.
A 2017 Jeep Compass with an automatic transmission can never be flat towed. Doing so can severely damage the transmission and void the warranty. You can always use a flatbed trailer to tow an automatic Compass. Alternatively, you can use a two-wheel dolly to tow the vehicle, but only if you have the front-wheel-drive version.
