Can you finance a car by using power of attorney?
Can I use power of attorney to get a car loan? I don't currently have a car. My uncle is sick and I'm taking care of him. He needs me to take him to doctors' appointments and on errands, but without a car, we're stuck. He said I could finance a car in his name because I have bad credit. I also have power of attorney over his matters.

“It’s highly dependent on what state you’re in, but in most cases, you should be able to
buy a car
with it.Be prepared to have a ton of extra paperwork and to get plenty of things notarized in regard to the purchase.
Your state may also have a motor vehicle power of attorney form that you may have to fill out to complete the transaction.
