In most states, employers will do a routine background check as standard procedure. If not, you may be required to report any convictions on your application. Do not hide your reckless driving charge, as lying will give the employer a reason to reject your application.
Unfortunately, a reckless driving charge will have a larger impact on employment prospects for certain occupations. This includes:
