“If you have
medical payments coverage
on your auto insurance policy, that coverage will pay out first until the policy limits are exhausted.Once those limits are exhausted, or if you do not carry medical payments coverage, your health insurance will pay out according to the terms of your policy (coinsurance, copays, deductibles, etc).
More uninsured drivers are are on the roads every year. For the future, consider adding some additional coverage to your auto insurance policy for more complete protection.
