Is the Mercedes-Benz certified pre-owned warranty transferable?

If I sell my pre-owned Mercedes-Benz to my aunt, will the warranty transfer to her? I don’t know how warranties work but I want to give my aunt accurate information.

While your

certified pre-owned warranty isn’t transferable to a new vehicle, it is transferable to a new owner. Just make sure to transfer the title into your aunt’s name so that she can take advantage of the warranty as the car’s legal owner.

You’ll need to visit the DMV with your aunt at least once to officially transfer ownership documents into her name since the warranty only covers the car’s owner.
