My vehicle was totaled and I need to rent a car to get to work. I have gap insurance on my car. Will it also cover a rental car until I can get a new car?

to see if you have rental reimbursement coverage
on your policy.If not and you were not at fault in the accident, the other driver’s insurance may pay for a rental car for you. Your insurance company can try to negotiate with the other party’s insurance to get you a rental car.
