We’ve got good news and bad news: Ohio passed a law allowing online renewals…but you’ll have to wait a little bit. You can renew your driver’s license online in
starting July 2022. If you need to renew your license before then, you’ll have to stick with going to the BMV in person. However, you can renew your license anytime within the six-month period after your license expires.
The in-person process is fairly simple: just show up with your current driver’s license and pass a vision exam. Be ready to pay the $27.75 fee, too. You can expect to get your new license by mail in about 10 days.
After you have your new license in hand, it may be time to find a new
app, you can find the absolute cheapest rates available for whatever coverage you need. Simply download the app, sign up, and see your best options in under a minute!
