Can I get gap insurance if I already bought a car?

Is it too late for me to add gap coverage to my new car? I bought it a couple of months ago and at the time I didn't think it was necessary. However, I have done some research since then, and I wish I hadn't declined the extra coverage.

“Don’t worry; it isn’t too late to add
gap insurance
to your car! As long as your car is one of the three most recent models by the manufacturer, you can find coverage.
Before purchasing a policy, make sure to shop around. You can start at the dealership however dealership prices tend to be on the higher end.
One of the best ways to secure a gap policy is with a
car insurance
company.
If your current provider doesn’t have this option, download the
Jerry
app. Jerry shops low insurance rates with over 50 insurance companies, including Nationwide and Allstate. The average Jerry driver saves $879 a year on car insurance!
Your
loan company
may still be able to add gap coverage to your vehicle loan, so they are also a good option.
Good luck looking for gap insurance!”
