Can I get car insurance if I'm 23 and only have a permit?

I just purchased a car and only have my permit. Are there any insurance companies that will issue me a policy? I'm not able to join anyone else's insurance, so I'd need a company that would only insure me.

“There are car insurance carriers that will allow you to buy
coverage without a driver’s license
. One carrier that offers policies for drivers with a permit is
Progressive
.
Even though you only have a permit, you can still request
car insurance quotes online
. This will allow you to see which carriers will offer you insurance with a permit and how much it will cost.
As soon as you’re able to, you should look into getting your license. Having a driver’s license may reduce the price you pay for insurance. It will also give you more options should you decide to switch carriers in the future.
