Can I buy an extended warranty on a used Toyota?
I found a great deal on a used Toyota from a private seller. Thankfully, he kept meticulous maintenance records and everything ran great in the test drive. Just to be on the safe side, I still want to get an extended warranty—can I get one on a used Toyota?

However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the extended warranty will come from Toyota.Toyota has the right to refuse an extended warranty on a private sale, but it may offer the extended warranty after an inspection, provided that the car has less than 150,000 miles and is younger than 10 years old. Alternatively, you could buy a third-party extended warranty, but do your research, as some of these warranties can come from shady companies.
