We are buying my son a new car and he only has his learner's permit. If we add him to our policy, will he be covered for gap insurance as well?

policy, any coverage on the policy applies to them, including gap insurance. Even though your son only has a learner’s permit, he will still be covered. The vehicle he is driving will also need to be on the policy for the gap insurance to apply. “
