Are U-turns legal in Colorado?

I’m moving to Colorado in about a month and I’m super excited! The only thing I want to master before I get there is Colorado driving laws. I think they’re somewhat similar to everywhere else, but can I legally make a U-turn there?

Congratulations on your move to
Colorado
! It’s become one of the fastest-growing states in America due to jobs and natural beauty. As far as driving is concerned, U-turns are legal in Colorado provided that:
  • There’s no sign prohibiting it
  • You yield to oncoming traffic
  • You always make the U-turn out of the left-most lane
Failure to adhere to these rules will result in a Class A traffic infraction, a fine between $15 and $100, and three points on your license.
If you’re switching states, you also need to switch your car insurance over to a Colorado policy. But before you blindly pick a new plan, why not take a few minutes on the
