You’ve set your eyes on a fantastic piece of auto manufacturing. There’s a reason why the A3 is the German automaker’s premier entry-luxury offering, but standard Quattro all-wheel drive technology is not it.
Not all Audi A3 models come with AWD. It’s one of the only models in Audi’s entire line-up that does not offer AWD as a standard feature. Instead, all trim levels of the Audi A3 are stuck with FWD unless you pay for a $2,000 AWD upgrade.
That said, the 2023 Audi S3 ($45,900 MSRP) and the 2023 Audi RS 3 ($58,900 MSRP) come standard with Audi’s Quattro AWD. These aren’t exactly the Audi A3, but they’re built on the same base with more premium convenience and performance features. They are both more expensive than the 2023 A3 AWD ($36,900 MSRP).
