What's the minimum level of car insurance I need in Texas?

I want to spend as little money on car insurance as possible. I drive a cheap, older car and I don't care about fixing little dents here and there. What's the minimum level of insurance I need in Texas?

Thanks for the question! The state-minimum coverage in Texas is $30,000 per person and $60,000 per accident for bodily injury and $25,000 for property damage. This coverage pays for the other driver’s vehicle repair costs and medical expenses if you’re at fault.
However, it’s usually better to up your limits a little more as opposed to just having what’s required. This ensures that if there’s an accident, you have enough coverage to pay for legal or medical expenses, if needed.
