After age 25, drivers do usually see a drop in insurance premiums because carriers may provide the insured with good-driver discounts. They’re also offered lower rates because they’ve matured into an age group that’s perceived to be less risky.
You won’t, however, see an immediate drop in premiums right when you turn 25. You’ll usually need to wait until the renewal of your policy to see any changes in your car insurance rates.
