Great question! It really depends on your personal preference and comfort level. Some customers prefer the in-person experience of talking face-to-face with an agent, while others are perfectly happy going online to buy their policy.
The great thing about shopping online for a policy is that you can compare multiple rates from different companies very quickly. On the other hand, shopping in person will allow you to develop a relationship with an agent and see if the company is a good fit for you. With most companies, if you decide to purchase a policy online, you will still have the ability to speak to an agent on the phone if you have questions. There really is no right or wrong way to purchase a policy. Do whatever makes you feel good. Happy buying!
