Can I drive a car for which I’m not listed as an additional driver?
My parents own two cars, a Ford and a Toyota. I'm included in the auto insurance policy as an additional driver for the Ford, but not the Toyota. Can I drive the Toyota anyway, as long as I have my parents' permission?

The key phrase here is “with your parents’ permission.” Any active driver listed on the policy is covered to drive any car listed on the policy. And in most cases, any licensed driver is covered to occasionally drive a car on the policy as long as they have permission from the named insured. Most insurance companies assign each driver to a vehicle based on which vehicle they’re more likely to operate. If it’s found that you don’t have permission to drive the car and there’s an accident, the claim can be denied.
