Start your car and allow it to run until it reaches the usual operating temperature, which should take around five minutes. Then, turn off the engine, pop the hood, and follow these steps:

- Remove the oil drain bolt and washer from underneath the engine, and then pour the used oil into the drain pan
- Install the new filter
- Put a new washer on the oil drain bolt, and tighten it to 29 lb-ft.
- Replace the fill cap and add new oil to the engine
